The Voodoo Council

Promoting Voodoo Religion and Ethical Voodoo Practice in the worldThe Voodoo Council is a Voodoo Members' Association non political, non religious and not for profit organization that brings together Voodoo Masters and Priests from all over the world in a wide spectrum of activities.

Founded in 1985, the Voodoo Council today includes more than 350 members (Voodoo Masters, Voodoo Priests and Voodoo Occultists) from around the world.

The Voodoo Council keeps the traditions and the old ways

The Voodoo Council is devoted to the traditional Voodoo Spirits and traditional practice of Voodoo Religion, coming from the Yoruba people of East Africa, who lived in Dahomey in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. We support the West African Voodoo (Vodun) practiced by the Ewe people, the Kabye people, Mina people, and Fon people of southern and central Togo, and southern and central Benin.

Vodun (meaning spirit in the Fon and Ewe languages) also spelled Voodoo, Vodon, Vodoun, Vodou, Voudou, is practiced by the West African Ewe people, and by some Gun people of Lagos and Ogun in southwest Nigeria.

The Voodoo Council is the premier organization for Voodooists and occultists worldwide. The Voodoo Council is an elite society that welcomes best occultists and Voodoo Masters from around the world.

The last of the old-time mystic orders of the historic Voodoo religion, it teaches the art and practice of Voodoo, as well as traditional witchcraft.

The main purposes of the Voodoo Council

- Promote and spreading the Voodoo Religion in the World

- Promoting and spreading the Ethical Voodoo Practice

The Voodoo Council does not support in any way whatsoever the practice of the Voodoo Bokors, i.e. all sorcerers who serve Loa with "both hands", practicing for both good and evil, as well as any African Voodoo Juju.
